Zen:  Serenity in every moment

Odyssey:  An extended journey

Zen Odysseys offers meditation workshops and classes to make meditation fun, simple and habit forming.

How will meditation enhance my life, how will I find the time, and what methods will work best for me are questions you may be asking yourself.

A variety of methods may be explored during your zen odyssey, so you can find what works for you.

Qigong:  Ancient eastern methods of chi (internal energy) cultivation, done with very little or no movement.  Quantum physics tells us that everything exists as “patterns of organic energy” (Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav), which is the definition of chi (or qi).  It is within us and everywhere.  Discover for yourself!

Tai Chi Chih:  A gentle, moving meditation (not to be confused with martial arts).  The rhythmic flow slips you into the space between your thoughts!  For further details of this form of tai chi, go to www.taichichih.org.  This easy form  of tai chi gets you to the feeling level of chi, which is very uplifting.

Seated Meditation:  Visualization and breath work done comfortably in a chair (sitting-in-lotus-position-while-nose-itches not a requirement for enlightenment!).

Some discussion: The left-brain will be unleashed sparingly (the analytical, judgmental side of the brain that is the root of suffering), to grasp metaphysical concepts recently popularized in books such as The Power of Intention (Wayne Dyer), Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle) and The Secret (Rhonda Byrnes) These concepts are the  basis of all the great world religions.  How you enrich your belief system is totally in your hands.

Zen Odyssey workshops are offered in a 2-day urban weekend venue, or can be designed for a one day workshop, corporate settings, retreats and small home groups.  Have zen, will travel.

Serenity is possible in every moment.  The odyssey is your life.
